Our grab lorries are primarily designed to efficiently remove inert waste materials. This includes a wide range of common site debris such as soil, rubble, hardcore, crushed concrete, and mixed aggregates. We can also take green waste, but please notify the driver in advance, and discuss large quantities with us beforehand. We can even take tarmac if you let us know when booking.

For safety and regulatory reasons, there are certain materials we cannot accept. This includes general household or commercial rubbish (like plastics, cardboard, or food waste), hazardous waste, and especially asbestos. If asbestos or any other unaccepted material is found within a load, we will unfortunately have to tip the entire load back onto your site.

Our grab lorries are large vehicles, similar in size to a refuse collection truck. We need clear, safe access to your site or property that is wide enough for the lorry to manoeuvre. The grab arm can reach approximately 6-8 meters from the side of the vehicle, allowing us to often collect waste piled over fences or hedges, reducing the need for direct drive-on access to the pile itself. If you have concerns about access, please discuss them with us when booking
